Agi, yes the lion and tiger are a matching pair - they are Lanarte miniatures. The chart of each one advertises the other. Hopefully I will finish the tiger today; I got half of the border part done last night.

Wow, I'm off for 4 days and you've done like 5 projects!! I love the fabric on the lion and tiger and the biscornu! Hardanger looking good as well, lovely colours and very neat for a first try!!

I have the energy saving bulbs at home too, but they're much brighter than normal ones! I must have the higher wattage ones I suppose :thinks:

Thanks everybody. I'm actually quite impressed with myself for my Hardangar efforts. If I look closely at it I can see a few imperfections, but on the whole I'm pleased I got on so well with it. It does use a lot of Perle Cotton No 5 though (the thicker one) so I'll have to buy some more before I do any more of these. I've enough left to do about half another one. I might well give a larger Hardangar project a go in the future though, like a table runner or something.

Great projects Sarah! I love the colours of the biscornu, and the Hardanger has turned out very successful! What shade were you using for this again?
