This is wonderful! So much detail, you'll never tire of looking at this! And you were right about placing the design within the frame - centering it would've looked odd, I agree. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Thanks everyone, next is a freebie from Vermillion, it is for my best friend , a pom breeder and the pattern is a pom angel praying, with a halo. I started it 4 years ago then lost the colour key and finially found someone who had it. So frustrating, a pattern but no key  It's not very big and she wants it as large as possible, I used 11 ct last time and find it too open soooooo, I found a piece of white 22 ct and thought I would stitch it over 2, there are lots of 1/4 stitches so that will make it easier, (that's what I don't like about aida, fractionals). Think it will work. ?? Going to give it a go tomorrow, going to veg the rest of the nite with the TV.

Thank you for the close-up, it is really adorable. Do I spot some French knots, too?

About the other project: in Hungarian folk art they use 22 count over two, it should work. Good luck :)

I'm off the forum for a few days and not only have you finished it, injured finger and all, but framed it too
It looks gorgeous, such a lot of detail, it'll always be of interest because there's so much to look at!

WOW! Simply fantastic! and Super fast! Looks great all framed up, I agree with all your choices, the fabric is great, and the buildings seem almost 2d if not 3d popping off the fab!!! And positioning it a little to the bottom rather than center was a grand idea, looks fabulous!!!

Thankyou, I was pleased with the frame too. I didn't use a matt so the frame being thick almost looks like a mat too. (if you catch the way I am drifting lol)

Wow!! This looks a good one - something to get your teeth into.
I have just finished a birth sampler, and enjoyed doing it so much, I was sad when it was finished :?

Oops, I somehow missed this finish. It's beautiful and that's a great frame for it. I totally agree too about placing and showing more fabric. Simply stunning :applesauce:
