Thought I would pass along some info on posting photos in messages on the forum.
I hadn't realized I could link directly from My Gallery here. From reading earlier posts, I thought I had to use PhotoBucket or another photo site.
After trying unsuccessfully to upload photos to Photobucket and others (still not sure what the problem was, but my browser kept crashing), I noticed the link in My Gallery. I have no problem uploading or posting from there.
Thanks also to Mags who passed on the info just after I found it!

Hello Wandatoo. I was looking through the unanswered posts and came across yours. This is so helpful!! I hadn't realised you can upload and post directly from My Gallery either until I read your post. It's going to be so much easier than logging into my photo host every time, although I do still need it for the other forum I belong to, but I'm delighted not to have to use it here as it can be a bit of a performance sometimes!
BTW do you have to make a new album for WIP to post on the threads...... I'm not sure how to start a new one.

You only need to have one gallery and you can put all of your photos into that. The community gallery is for pictures of SAL's that we do or cards that we do for a charity or ATC Cards that we do to trade.
So all you need is one gallery for all the photos you would like to post that are personal. I hope that helps.

Thank you Rose that is helpful about the albums. I've just been looking at the "How to post a pic in a message" thread and it seems we do need to use our photo host, and everyone seems to be doing that, so I think I'll just carry on doing what I'm used to doing, other wise I'm very likely to get myself in a muddle!
