Feng Shui FINALLY FRAMED

Post by Rose »

Being sick and not getting to go to work has helped in my stitching. I was able to get the angel done and I started the first of 4 pictures I want to do for daughter. Mabel sent these to me when I asked for help finding a good pattern. This is going really fast and it is so fun to see it worked up fast. :D

Oh I should have said I am stitching this on 14ct. (favorite count) Charles Craft Fiddler color. It is sorta an oatmeal color. I changed the background color from yellow to green as I think it looks better and I may change the border colors, not sure until I get the rest of the flowers stitched up.

Some times it pays to be sick! I hope you're feeling better. Your stitching looks great! I think it was a good call on the color change.

The first one is finished!!!
Image

The changes I made were the green background was supose to be a creamy yellow. The outline of the design is suppose to be 3371 and I used the 834 gold.
The outer boarder was suppose to be filled in but I thought it took away from the design so just did the one line and the diamonds in the corners.
The word Harmony was to be stitched in 3371 but I chose to use the same color as the outer boarder.

Very pretty, and I like the colours. They really convey "harmony".
