This is a lovely design and so pleased you've felt able to pick it up again. I love the effect of the sky on the fabric and the bird is looking fantastic.

Here's the next bird- the red breasted nuthatch. No birds for a while as I now have a lot of tree to work on.

Mabel--The reason I frogged the original stitching of the tree was because it was all a dead grey and I switched the colors to the brown grays after checking photos of trees in our yard where these very species of birds fed. None were as dull as the stitching so I made the change and am so very happy I made that choice.

It is very much a labor of love and memories. We now reside in a sixth floor apartment so gone are the bird feeders and birds. The memories are there to call back on.

Rose- This was saved from a fate worse than UFO. It was in the garbage tin several times but just couldn't bring myself to do the final toss. I'm so glad I didn't and found this forum instead.
