Great news! :applesauce: I'm sure all will be well. Sometimes things just have the odd "hiccup" and work out fine in the end. I'm sure its just the universe's way of ensuring our blood pressure doesn't drop too low!
I can see no reasons - 'cause there are no reasons.

I am so excited. This is what I have got:

My keys :D :D :D
Image

But I have some more pictures:

I only have one, but quite spacious room: picture taken from the doorway:
Image

another picture taken from the balcony door:
Image

and another where you can see there is a small hall between the entrance and the room, which would hold all my wardrobes:
Image

Room and hall only need a coat of painting, and later, when I have some more money, some new furniture.

This is the kitchen - most work to be done is here:

Image

It only has a cooker and nothing else. It is very long and narrow so I will have to think hard how to organize everything. The cooker is on one side (with the gas pipes), the tap for the sink is just opposite - but between the two there is hardly enough place to walk through, not to mention opening the oven door
I will have to move either the gas or the water-sewer pipes - don't know yet which will be easier and cheaper. Also, I was planning to only buy a sink with a cabinet now, and buy the rest of the kitchen cabinets later, when I have paid off some of my debts, but it seems it is not easy - buying or ordering a sink and cabinet would cost about half of a whole kitchen row with 6 cabinets and a sink. So it is absolutely not worth - but where to find the rest of the money? Oh, money!

And here is the bathroom:

Image
It's very small, and i need to buy a wasbasin. But it's quite new, and apart from the fact that I hate the dark blue lines between the tiles, it's OK. The toilet is in a separate small place, and it needs to be replaced - I would rather have my own :)

I also have a small pantry, and a small corridor where there is a corner with shelves - very useful. Al OK, just needs to be painted. (Mind you, I am only painting the walls and the shelves now, doors and windows will be scrubbed well now, and painted in the summer.)

Next week I will start buying things, have found a man to do all the small things for me, so it can be done in 2-3 weeks, hopefully. My only big concern is the kitchen cabinet right now, I want to look at some more shops, perhaps I can find a better option.

Forgot to photograph the garden - although it is not very nice at the moment. :(

My ex came to see it today, he is an electrical engineer, and the first thing he did was looking at the electrical things - it will have to be rewired. I was half expecting this, and he will do it for me, so that won't be too expensive.

Please, keep your fingers :x: for me

How exciting! Almost like a blank canvas before you stitch something lovely.

Hope all goes well getting your new home the way you want it. :toast:

Thank you for the pictures of your new home. It will be so interesting to see what you do with it. As Wandatoo said, it's a blank canvas waiting for you.

I'm sending every good wish for you. You have come so far in the past few months.....

It's lovely Agi   and you'll have so much enjoyment out of getting it right, but like Rose says, essentials now, then you can take your time to gradually get it how you want.
Am so happy for you!

This will be lovely, it's great to be able to do it your way even if it takes a bit of time, once you have some personal bits around it will start to look like home
