I was intending to keep it for Mother's Day, but I was excited to give it to my Mum so I gave it to her for her birthday in February instead.
She cried over it, as it's her favourite poem and the fact that I'd put so much effort into forming the words from the little alphabet and stitching it and everything. She normally takes my work to the framing shop for me too, so she knows how much stitchy stuff and framing costs and she was overwhelmed with it.
It's now hanging in pride of place at the top of her stairs where there is a little narrow window. Sunlight comes through for about an hour in the mornings and lights up the daffodils.
