Having finished my Bugs Bunny the other day it was time to pick one of the other many items from my stash and I chose this kit (no backstitch - yay!). I started it on Thursday night, it is stitched on 28ct linen and is a very simple one to stitch with only 10 colours! I've also got "Tenderness" in the same series to do after this one.
As you can see I am a "start in the middle and wander around with a colour for a while" sort of stitcher...
[Edit: 22/1/2010] Here it is finished:

Ahh, very nice. Sounds like you are another fan of some of their Sepia collection designs. There is one other Vervaco kit that tempts me called "Summer Breeze" - no doubt the next time I find an excuse to order stuff from SewAndSo it will fall into my cart...
Susan, I definitely prefer linen certainly for "larger" designs like this that are not full coverage. I'm also replacing the aida in the "Tenderness kit" with 28ct linen. Apart from all the other usual benefits (like appearance, reduced floss wear, fractionals etc) I've got another to add to my own list now. For the first time I am using the pinhead stitch to start/stop threads where I cannot loop start. Only learnt about it recently having seen it mentioned on forums and love it...
