By the way, do you bind you wooden hoops before you use them or do you have other secrets for not marking the fabric?

No Topbiddy I don't bind them. I do make sure I wash my hands before I start and if there are any marks I wash the project. Just lately I have used a stand with a clamp which you can just see at the top of the picture.

Very nice work - I love the country feel, and the partial backstitching on the geese adds a nice effect.
