she's gorgeous and I can't get over it how almost gauze-like the linen looks, so delicate!

And here it is finished, one last blitz on it today. Stoked with the result, looks really good in person and it is a decent size as well (around 13,000 stitches and 44cm high on the 28ct).

Thanks everyone. As for framing - yeah well, that's where things fall through the cracks for me... lol. I live in a rented flat in London and to keep it easy to move (and hide my hobby) I don't frame any unless they are gifts. Most I leave at my parents place in Aus when I visit. One day when I leave London and have my own place again I am going to have one heck of an expensive framing trip... :)

This is maybe a quarter of the ones I have done that are hanging in their wardrobe on a coathanger...

oh wow soo many fantastic projects.

i have a strange landlord, been asking for 4 months for a window key and a water meter location with no success, but he does let us re-decorate, and hang photos and such.

i can never understand the landlords that dont let people hang photos, afterall it is your home, his house your home, and making it homly would include photos etc. if i ever win the lottery and have a chain of houses i rent out, i would let my tenants hang pictures

Thanks Lisa. To be fair I haven't specifically asked my current landlord if they object so I can't use that as an excuse. I've got property back in NZ and they are free to do what they like so long as the place is presentable when they leave. I guess in my first few years in London I lived in five different flats so got used to not trying to accumulate bulky or breakable possessions. When I finally leave here and have my own nice big house down under again I am sure there will be much more room and permanence to figure out what to frame and where to put it.

I know they will look even nicer when framed though - for instance one in that photo above got given to my grandparents for a 60th wedding anniversary (I think) and hangs in their lounge:

Oh my gosh such fast stitching!!!!! WOW  all that work and you are hiding it in a closet. I would find a way to display it. Something may be a quilt or pillows or something like that. :applesauce: :applesauce:

are you crazy man?????

i haven't read your bio but i assume you are a man. maybe my perspective is different as a woman but i don't see anything wrong with men who stitch. a friend of mine use to win awards for his pieces (he's since passed away).

your pieces are lovely. i could understand if you were stitching tatty teddy or something too sweet like that but even still....

White seduction is just lovely, but I was stunned by all your finished works put together! Amazing!
What's the Big Ben tower design? It's lovely, I'm intrigued by it
