Spring Tulips

Post by quixoticpixels »

Here's one of my current projects:

Image

I've been having a great time working on this and have been doing so fairly steadily, but now I've got a serious ache in my shoulder/neck area. Sadly, I think I'll have to rest for a few days. I'm itching to finish this off!

This is a kit from the May 2008 Cross Stitcher magazine.

I've just finished this myself!!! Nice isn't it?

I made it for one of the local shopkeepers. She gave me a beautiful bunch of tulips at Christmas as a gift for being a loyal customer. This chart seemed an appropriate thank you to her! I've framed it but I left off the gift tag part of the design and added a ribbon over the stitched ribbon. I shall take a photo before I give it to her.

I love the bright colors! I'm missing color right now, as we're stuck in the "spring is never" coming season that passes for winter around here. I miss snow...

Looking forward to seeing more of this one.
