My first big project Chrysella in Graphite 17/02/10

hi guys here is my latest stitching choice after spending what feels like forever deciding which of four charts i have to do first i all of a sudden felt it had to be this one so here is what it should look like and what i have so far im stitching it on 14 count aida finished design is 89500 stitches did about 650 odd lol but i can already see shapes forming yippee i cant wait to stitch more tomorrow its from mystic stitch by maxine gadd

lol rose there are 48 different colours in this and then 15 skeins of black and four of 819 baby pink lol it surprising how many pinks and lilacs are in this as it does just look brown and grey

Oh wow, what a lovely design. I am currently doing a Maxine Gadd design by mystic stitch called Kabuki. A japanese geisha. I love her stuff. :D

i love the maxine gadd designs and i have a picture in my gallery of john claytons japanese lady 'suko' i love all the colours and the fantasy style might treat myself to maxine's book on amazon :wub:

wow i just had a look at your work in progress its gorgeous how big is that design trixie? what is the chart quality like from celtic rose i have been meaning to order from them but not enough stitching hours in the day to decide what i want if you havent seem much maxine gadd try mystic stitch website and look under her name on the right of the page there's tons lol

the colours in this look greyish brown but believe it or not the colours i will be stitching are mostly lilacs and pinks with bits of grey and brown in there are about seven different pink colours and about the same in light purple shades im assuming the finished effect will look brown/grey i have no idea but it will be fun finding out

I'm a big fan of Maxine Gadd and this graphite version is magnificent. I laughed when I read how many colours were in this 'black and white' design!!
