Ok, here's the flopsy bunnies. They're not quite finished yet - I'm still working on the backstitch for them. This is the biggest panel though, so very pleased to have got this one almost done. Back to carrots for the next one before Mrs Rabbit comes up.

I was gutted to see you bought this as a kit! I have the material for an afghan and want to do BP designs on it. I have traced one book of patterns just need to buy it!
Your doing wonderfully well on this your friend will be so pleased to receive this!

Re: Beatrix Potter Afghan - Update 25 Jan
Nettie, I wanted to do as you're doing and select BP designs to fit on an afghan. I did find lots of books of designs out there - there are even charts for the entirety of some of her books. However the problem was that the charted designs were often bigger than the squares of the afghan fabrics. In the end, it was easier and also worked out cheaper (a distinct factor since this will eventually be posted abroad) just to get the kit.

wow I would love to do a blanket like that, i loved beatrix potter stories when i was a child and am sort of thinking if and when i have a baby if it is a boy...doing the nursery in that theme...iw ould love to do a blanket like that but my backs are always SOOOO messy I am very impressed with your progress and and very impressed with the fact you can bmake a blanket with a neat back.. i have far far to go!! But half the fun is getting there.

Here's this week's update. I finally finished the back stitch, french knots etc on the bunnies and I've got most of the leaves done on the next carrots.
