I use the DMC only on small projects so didn't really notice the wireyness. I always ty a knot in my threads. Most stitchers shun this type of ending but it has always worked for me and I have never had a gift returned due to tying.

I'm only using it for the lettering "Get well soon" But god this thread is annoying the hell out of me. I have "Get" It's so hard to work with.

You ARE allowed to abandon projects that you realise you don't like anymore, you know!! Not that we ever call it that. It simply becomes your first UFO...

NEVER!!!!! I shall slog it out! *stubborn* I've only got a little bit more to do. And it's teaching me things all the time so it's worth it.

See, it all has worked out. You'll find that the backstitch might be boring to do, but it will really make the piece come alive.

I like backstitching, it seems a lot less stressful than the various shades of white.

Oh noes!
I am ONE strand short of the backstitch thread!!!
Go figure the ones they gave me spare strands for I already had and the one I'm short on I naver bought
Looks like this one won't be finished for another week or maybe.... *wonders if 310 could be used to finish... my backstitch is in 3371. *looks for a similar colour*
EDIT
Ahhh that worked flawlessly. *proud moment*
See?
