Black Aida cloth again :)

Post by Kathy »

When I posted a question about working on Black Aida cloth, your suggestions for an Ott light made all the difference. Thank you again.
Now, I'm finding that the cloth is not loosening up as quickly as the other grey and white Aida cloths that I have used. Are there any tricks for making this less stiff? I am only about 10% into the design and each time I try to place the hoop on, it is not easy.
Thanks again for any suggestions.

I would be very interested in finding that out as well. I am also working on black fabric and put it away for a bit cuz it was getting on my nerves way to stiff not sure why this is when the other fabric is so plyable.

The only thing I can think of is to wash it and that will make it less stiff.

I guess another choice would be to have a wrestling match with it and see if that would make it a bit more managable. Bu you might get a few weird looks from those around you. @rotfl: @rotfl: @rotfl:
