It's beautiful! And so teeny tiny :D :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Shame about the design career - if I had a dolls house, I would absolutely love one of those little cloths for a tea tray. *daydreams about an entire range - tablecloths, rugs, etc etc*

Maybe not selling but she won't even post a pic?! I am so proud of you I almost want to keep a pic in my stitch bag so when people ask questions I can gush about how awesome this is!
In fact... my husband's boss has a huge dollhouse that was handbuilt for Miss Loreli. I really want to be daring and try this myself! I doubt I would get such beautiful results though

  I am utterly amazed at how tiny it is. Your pictures make it looks o big and then you put the matchstick next to it and then my mouth just drops open! I am so impressed! :applesauce: :applesauce:

I won't say exactly what my husband said when I showed him the picture with the matchstick but he was impressed as he thinks when I use 22ct waste canvas I am crazy for working on such a small ct.

Now that I've finished the tea tray cloth I've got lots of other projects lined up, having finally been brave enough to admit that for the time being BoInk is just not going to happen. It's a beautiful design, and I will finish it one day, but right now I need my stitching to be a relaxation after a busy day, not something that needs as much concentration as the day job :-(.

Plenty planned though -- some for other people, like the Time For God bookmarks (I have finally worked out which threads I'm going to use for them :-)) and the labarador pup for my favourite aunt's 70th birthday, and some purely for my own pleasure, like a small folk sampler, and Little House Needlework's Necessities Sampler & Traveling Stitcher, and also (if the linen band ever arrives -- the shop which is ordering it for me hasn't been sent it in their last two orders) my band sampler.

For now I'll start with the pup though -- I bought a lovely Rajmahal satin-covered box for it which should just fit it when I stitch it on 36ct. On the advice of the lady at Smugglers I decided to use some antique white Edinburgh linen from my stash and stitch a light blue background around the puppy. She suggested half crosses, but I think I'll use whole cross stitch in one strand, and possibly some white Lana thread for fluffy clouds.

Here is what it will look like, sort of (Rose, if the pic is too big or detailed let me know and I'll make it smaller):

Image

and here is the start I made on it last night -- doesn't look much like a puppy yet, does it :-)!

Oh, little detail, going from lightest off-white to darkest brown, there are ten shades in the puppy's coat  !

Love the design!! It's gonna look so adorable when it is stitched up. May I inquire what the brand of hoop is that you are using?? I'd love to find one like that---looks a bit better than the ones I use--hope that they are available in the US :)

It's an ordinary flexi-hoop, but 8" which is the biggest I've seen that wasn't woodgrain (as I only use them as "working hoops", the colour doesn't matter, and I don't like the woodgrain because the flexible outer ring is stiffer)

Ahhhhh he is so very sweet!!!!

Sorry to hear about the Boink. It is not something I would do but it was so fun to watch all of the different ones developing. But as you say you have to enjoy doing it or else it is just not worth it.
