My magnifier lamp has finally been mended! I can stitch again!
But it's been such a long time since I could that I'm gonna do something small and simple before I get stuck back into my Wentzler dragon! Need to get my hand and eye back in.
Thanks, everyone, and thanks for the birthday wishes, SusanF.
Yes, I've missed stitching a LOT! It's SO frustrating not to be able to sit and sew and watch the picture grow... on the other hand, I've caught up on a lot of reading; and I've adopted one of my younger daughter's cats (her other cat has gone to someone else) - because she got married again and has gone to teach in Dubai and will be going to teach in Beirut later this year - so I have been otherwise occupied, anyway.
Oh, so good to see you again! I was also wondering what had happened to you when I saw it was your birthday the other day - belated best wishes.
Were you here when I wrote about how I went to a Leonard Cohen concert in Budapest?

Yes, I do believe I was! At least I remember you were going to go! And thank you for birthday wishes.
And thanks to Sammy_v, Mags, Slinky, K1nS, and dollystitcher! It's lovely to see you all again!
I've really missed you all, missed this forum, missed seeing your stitching - I couldn't look, so jealous! - but now I will be able to browse everything, knowing I can stitch again, too!
