Hi from Queensland, Australia

Post by kimkat_tkl »

Hi

I am a cross stitch addict. I have the bad habit of buying kits when I find one I want at a good price, even though I know that I still have plenty at home still to be done. I now have a collection of around 50 kits still waiting to be done.

I mostly do kits portraying Winnie the Pooh (Disney style) and an Australian range called "Country Threads" which are based on beautiful Australian animals and scenery.

Yes, welcome to the forum from the West of Scotland. I guess I thought the hoarding of stash was part of the stitcher's job description... :D

Welcome from another that suffers the "buy the kit 'cause it's so pretty and I know I'll make it one day" ailment too.

Thanks for all your warm welcomes.

When I am not sooooooo busy with work, I will definitely get my gallery going. I am really proud of my finished work, and just love the idea of having a place to show it off.

Hello and welcome.
I am relatively new to cross stitch and am really enjoying looking at the beautiful work of more experienced stitchers, so I'm looking forward to seeing your work.

Your stitching is lovely, and so colourful. Do I detect a love of animals??
