This looks amazing, I love all the colours and detail :applesauce: :applesauce:

Dimensions kits are often short and although they are good about sending extra out, it really shouldn't be necessary, there should be enough in the kits, also it does take some time to get them if you don't live in USA, I was short of about 4 colours in my two stockings I did  very frustrating but hope you get it soon

That is so charming! Makes me want to sit right down at that table in the center, have a glass of wine, and watch the world go by!
Beautifully stitched!

It is fantastic..it looks better than the picture on the pack it came in!

congartulations...and er, no i haven''t started mine yet.

Thanks for the heads up about the thread. If you dont get it from Dimensions, you can have mine, just PM me, I can substitute the colour for the matching DMC one. I would rather do that from the start than run out half way and would be more than happy to post it to you...especially as I am going to be using 14 count fabric so will end up using more thread.

Were there any other colours you ran short off apart from those 2

Thanks everyone - I'm going to take it as is to show to my Mum/sister in Aus along with the other two finishes this year from my sig, they do look quite neat laid out together, one day in the future to be framed of course...

Here is a photo of what I have left currently - will be using more of the white (#23) for the french knots but every other colour done with. To reconcile these with the Dimensions numbers, I just numbered the legend of the chart in two columns downwards left to right.

So #1 = 13067 on legend, #12 = 13069, #24 = 13282 and #37 = 13011 (you can work out the rest I am sure!). You can see a number of threads were down to their last length though many of those did not have many stitches of that colour to begin with. Of note a few colours like #40 (12295) and #9 (15379) and #4 (12303) where I almost ran out - if you were to make a mistake stitching then you would be in trouble.
Image

The noticeable empty #11! Interesting to compare with the photo in my first post which shows how much thread there was originally.

This is superb :applesauce: It's funny about the threads - I know others here have had trouble with Dimensions kits before; you think they'd realise from the numbers of requests they get for extra thread that they should add some more to their kits.

This design is stunning! You've done really well with it.. Dimensions is pretty stingy with their colors..but at least they're good about shipping you out more.. Glad you enjoyed Miami Beach. Must be nice to travel all the time

I can't say amazing because everyone here said amazing, but that's what I intend exactly...
Really, it's so impressive with all its bright colours...
I'm sure you'll be over sooner than you expect, once you feel close to the finish line you want to sprint, don't you?

Did you really start it on January 25th? This means you did all this work in 1 month and a half? You're certainly a genius!

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. I brought it with me in it's almost finished state down to Aus to show my Mum/sister and they love the colours/design too.

Yep, all the posts in here were "real-time" - before that I was working on my other projects in my signature which I also did forum posts for. In actual fact it has only been 4 weeks available for stitching, as two of those six I was on holiday in the US. It's just unfortunate the end of it is now so prolonged!
