Strawberry Fields

I have been working on a lot of projects for gifts lately and decided I need to do something fun just for me. So last night I started Strawberry Fields. The design is by monsterbubbles - I love her designs, they are so funky and unique. The design features a quote from one of my favorite Beatles songs - "Nothing is real....And nothing to get hung about.....Strawberry Fields forever." I am stitching this 2 threads over 2 on 32 counts Luguna from Enchanted Fabrics - the color is called Midnight Fantasy Flair. It's a kind of blue-y / purple-y mix. The design calls for Gentle Art Sampler Threads and the Thread Gatherer Silk N Colors. I will post a progress pic after I work some more on it this weekend. Here is the finished design:
