Greetings

Post by Nightstitcher »

As a new member I thought I'd drop a quick hello to you all. I am in my late 30's, live in north west Leicestershire and share my house with a manic moggy. I like horse riding, gardening, reading and creative writing. I am employed in the electricity industry and work shifts so do the majority of my stitching over night (subject to the workload).

:wip:
Clock - should finish it whilst on nightshifts this weekend

Just to answer a few questions posed:

1. The clock I'm stitching will become an actual working clock. It came as a kit with the mechanism included, my framer will also instal the mechanism for me.

2. The Henry VIII I am doing came from a stitching magazine several years ago with subsequent editions including charts for each of the wives. The are very similair in size and detail to those available in the new DMC catalogue. I don't currently have any pictures available as I can only access the internet at work at the moment, once I get it up and running at home I will try and upload some pics of my work. However, as I am a bit of a Luddite when it comes to computers, I can't guarantee viewable pics.

3. For those of you who are familiar with the area, I live just off the Waterworks Road in Coalville.
