Here is the link to the finished picture.

I am stitching her on 28 ct. evenweave. It is hand-dyed rose by Dovestitch. I am stitching 1 over 1.

This is after page 1 is complete. The next page is her face, so I am SOOOO excited. :applesauce:

It looks great and the bright colours definitely make it more interesting!

I decided to go with the hand-dyed fabric because instead of framing it, I am going to turn it into a decorative pillow to sit on the bed in my spare bedroom. The finished design on the 28 ct. is about 5 x 7 and the pillow will be 12 x 12, so the pretty fabric will come out on the sides.

Plus it's fun to look at as I stitch :D
Two very good reasons :-)!

My Haiti girl has a face now! I was amazed at how realistic the eyes were. Kinda underestimated the creepiness of them staring at me . . . I got through it though. The eyes and the point where her wings attached to her back were terrible for confetti, but the rest of the page went pretty quick. Just had to buckle down for those parts. :D

Only some partial pages left and I will have my first HAED finish! Then it's back to BAPs.
