help - knitted kilt socks pattern?

Is there anybody who can tell me where to get a good knitting pattern for mens kilt hose? My b-in-l is so tall bought ones are too short for him! Please help me if you have any info?

I used a kniffty knitter once I know they have a bunch of sock patterns....not sure. though really wish I could be of more help.
