What a great idea now why didnt I think of just getting it framed in white then playing with the shell's first. Doh :-) Perfect thank you!!

I was glad that I could get a good jump start on this - I took a week and a half off from all other duties to get this far - it just takes so long - well you all can relate, finally other people who understand! :-)

Before I begin in the morning I snap a picture and post it - sort of a "My sewing picture log". This way my daughter can see and understand just how much work and love went into this for her. She is gaining a whole new appreciation for sewing now.

I find the progress blog inspires me to sew more and helps me stay focused on one project at a time. Usually I am working on 2 or 4 of them but this one I absolutely must finish before October. The other benefit is my daughter gets to see how her picture is progressing and can understand how much work goes into one design.

I got the idea from someone here actually (wish I could remember who now) but thought it was a great idea. Since I was posting the pictures daily on my facebook page I figured I would do one in Photobucket as well.

Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement :-)

I seem to be so focused on getting this done I am letting other things slide. I have my next project picked out already :-)

Here she is: Coming in 2011! Imagine the bead work I can add to her!!

She is from White Willow as well (http://shoppe.whitewillowstitching.com/ ... d_159.html" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank)

I am really excited about this one coming up. Just ordered the pattern last night. There are so many patterns I want to sew from WW. I use to do just John Clayton or Lanarte but since I found WW I am addicted :-)

New Pacifica Picture posted next!
