Here's an update!



I have about 1400 stitches done and I just used Kreinik for the first time. It was a scary thing to use, and I don't like that it lays as flat as the rest of the thread, but it does add a pretty sparkle to the project!

I really wish it would start taking shape, it is just a bunch of colors to me right now. Ha!

It's looking great! Kreinik... haha.. I have a love hate relationship with that stuff. I hate it soooooooo much when I'm working with it.. but afterwards I look at the design and get so absorbed in the sparkliness that I forget about the hassle

I really like using Kreinik metallics. Never had a problem with them before. What I don't care for at all is DMC metallics. They are too springy and out of control.

Ha ha, fine. When we adopted him from the Heaven to Earth Rescue group, his name was Winston (hence the Winston part of his name). On the drive to get him, we were all trying to think of what we wanted to name him because none of us were fans of Winston, we came up with Brody Bear.

Buckeye is because we live in Buckeye Country (any one living in Ohio or Michigan in the U.S. knows what that means; to everyone else, college football). Superman was added by our friends-for-so-long-they're-family-now brother. Bam was my addition for Bam Margera () and Kudjo was added by a friend of mine who never called him by his real name, he just called him Kudjo.

Love your dog ...... and his name!! If it helps, our cat Penny is offically known to us as "Princess Penny Pasta Pumpkin Pie"!!
