Daffodil Poem ~ Finished!!! and now framed!!!

Post by Lisa »

I have just noticed my combined thread is now 51 pages long  then remembered that the forum is slowing down due to long threads, so I've decided to retire that thread and go back to single project threads to help with the speed-ness of the forum.

Anyway, back to the project.

This is for Paul's aunt and uncle's 30th Wedding Anniversary in September. I missed their 25th, and wanted to do something special for their 30th. And she is a BIG daffodil lover so this seemed perfect.

now for some pictures:

got a bit bored with the backstitching so did some daffodils :D

I love daffies - they're so cheerful! I always look forward to seeing them in the Spring - it doesn't FEEL like Spring till there are daffodils. :)

That's so beautiful :applesauce: I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets easily bored with backstitch.
