Kell's HAED BUtterflies Galore Storykeep

Now that Charlie is all finished and at the framer's, it's time to start another (quite) major project for my "anything I fancy" week in my stitching schedule, so I've decided it's time to attempt my first ever HAED.

This is what it should look like when it's finished.

I received the final 57 threads through the post the other day, so I now have all my colours ready (although the new ones aren't bobbined-up yet) and plan to make a start on 15th April (or possibly even sooner if I get my April biscornu finished before then).

I'm looking forward to starting this project as I've been dying to give HAED a try, but at the same time I'm rather terrified, as I've never attempted anything so intricate before, which is why I'm doing a storykeep rather than a full-size project for my first one.

I made a start tonight!

1. All the materials
2. All the different colours of floss I'll be using! (89 colours!)

4. After 2 hours and 40 minutes of stitching (which is actually all in very dark navy blue, not black)
