After finishing UFO week and then finishing off the Madonna and Child card. I got back on to my angel.

Things are going well with her but very slow as the majority of the stitching in this area is all metallic threads. So shorter threads, threads going through fabric slower and all the fun that comes with this. I love the metallic and how it shows but it does go slower.

So progress: the dress trim is done and I am working on the final area which is the water and backgound fence. So really I am very close to done with the X's and then on to the BS to make the picture pop.

She's so pretty and delicate! I know what you mean about using metalllics - I hate working with them, but love the effect they bring to the picture.
