Haven't been able to spend too much time on this recently, but anyhow, here's the next update picture.
Latest update picture
I have to put up dark pictures or the lighter creams aren't showing up well. So hope it's still clear enough for you.
Since I started the border I found the pattern doesn't actually match one side and it looks very odd, so I am altering mine to make sure it does match.

Thank you!
Well here is the next update ... Another update
I'm hoping to get an hour or so at it later on tonight.
I really am enjoying stitching.

I haven't finished this one yet and I'm already thinking about the next project!

Stitching all done at last!!
Have made a start on the back stitch. I was a bit daunted at the thought of it all, but anyhow, most of it is done.
Just the hearts to decorate (French knots...EEK!) and the writing to attempt.
Todays update picture.

I've never attempted them. I'm pretty good at getting knots in my thread, so maybe I'll discover they will be my forte.
(I seriously doubt it!!).
I'm armed with a 'How to' in one of the magazines I was given, so I hope it goes ok.

Oh that's great! Thanks Jilly.
When it says to come down right next to where you come up are you in the next 'sqaure block' or same place as you came up but with a few threads of aida seperating it?
Hope you can understand what I mean!
