Joan Elliott's Assisi design from Cross Stitcher issue 198

I was reading an old copy of cross stitcher magazine and it featured a letter with this design by Joan Elliott and it said it had come out in issue 198, February 2008 of Cross Stitcher.

That's okay mags, especially given as I see your avatar with the cat--love the cats in the mugs design and hopefully someone else will have it to send on--would love to stitch them up for my friend in London!

Actually, thinking about it, it will be a while before I get around to it, so I could lend it to you (it has already be loaned out and returned). Just hope it doesn't get lost in the post. pm your address if you are happy with this. I will wait until all volcanic ash has disappeared before I send it to you though.

And it's already arrived in the post today!! 4 days from England to Florida is really fast!! It's adorable and I'm going to start on it very soon--just have a stitch a star to finish up then I'm aiming to stitch a couple of these cuties up for my coffee and cat loving friend!! I'll try and stitch fast!! Thanks for loaning me the chart
