It looks beautiful. Congratulations on the finish. :applesauce: :applesauce: For the book I was thinking squiggly lines to represent writing but I also think the ideas to put initials or 30 on the pages are good too.

It's lovely! My first thought was squiggly lines, too, but 30 or initials is better, after thinking about it.

Well done on finishing this, it's lovely. I agree that stitching the initials and 30 in the book would be a great way to personalise it and make the book look "written in". I would practise writing out the lettering on squared paper so you can make sure you're happy with the position and angle of them before you stitch.

It's beautiful!

I'd put your initials on one page and the date on the other.

This is so lovely, the tender colours make it sweet and "readable", congratulations! :applesauce:

Congratulations on the finish, Lisa. It looks very charming! I think it would be cute to have a little daffodil on the pages, or any other tiny motif already in the chart. Or you could always stitch in your initials!

I bought a frame for this today as MIL is going to Wales on the 14th, and she will drop off the pile of things I have for Pauls aunt. so far ive ogt this poem, the anniversary card, her husbands birthday card, her sons birthday card, a cd of wedding photos, I think thats it but who knows.

anyway, i got the frame, but the smaller size was too small and the next one up is way big, but i can get a mount. the frame lady was shut so i couldnt get a frame from her as wilko's (where i got the frame from) had no mounts :x so what colour mount shall i go for?

i havent mounted it yet. just popped it in the frame, the material is still hanging out

 :applesauce: love your frame choice and I'd likely just opt not to have a mount at all, looks great as it, just center up your stitched picture and frame it that way.

Actually I rather like it without a mount, it gives it air/space. I know if there's glass you'll need something to keep it away from the stitches but you could use sapcers instead of a mount?
