I've seen other stitchers using decorative magnets to hold several layers of fabric out of the way when they stitch. What are they correctly called, and where can I purchase some?

I was just looking through the postings, and saw a post about a Cross Stitchers Sampler. I am also interested in it. Any info would be of great help.

Magnetic Needle Tokens are what I think you are after. Jane Greenoff has them on her Cross Stitch Guild Website http://www.thecrossstitchguild.com/Shop.aspx?cat=112 Just scroll down the page to find them.
I hope this helps.
