Wonderful design, great neat stitching and brilliant pictures.
I think your work and pictures look better than the original picture of the finished design!

I love this one and you've got lots done already. Lovely neat stitching! Looking forward to more progress pictures.

How are you finding the Aida Rustico? I stitched a dreamcatcher on that once and I must say it's one of my favourite fabrics to work on.

I love it! Its a gorgeous design! I love samplers and I am a displaced Washingtonian! Hubby is in the military! I would love to make this for family, but I would be very tempted to keep it for myself!

Northwest Sampler Mary Lou's WIP UPDATE 3 May 2010

Post by mlbailey »

Here is the progress to date on the Northwest Sampler. The first and second panels are complete, and more of the borders done. I'm enjoying it, and it's like having a mini-history lesson....like the reason for the suffragettes holding the Vote sign is because Wyoming was the first state to allow women to vote!
This project will now be sharing in rotation with the Quiltmaker, which I've posted a new thread on today. I expect it will still get its share of attention as a bit of relaxation when I tire of the Quiltmaker's blue skirt!

Looks terrific!!!! I remembered that Wyoming was the first state to allow women the vote. Always stuck out that they were ahead of the more prominant states like Virginia, New York, or California. :D
