
Picture is for my youngest grandson. He chose it himself, and I'm going to adapt it a little to make the face colour pattern closer to his cat.
It's on 18ct aida, using Dimensions own threads, and the chart is coloured. It's the first time I've used a coloured chart and, although it is easier inasmuch as you don't mistake the symbols, it is also annoying as the colours don't match the pic! AND you have to get a distinctly differently coloured pen to mark off the chart. I'd like it better if it was only the backstitching that was coloured. Am I a moaner and a complainer? YES!!

The above is two evenings work whilst watching tv.

I've decided that although aida makes for neater stitches, I prefer linen!
