It's lovely to have something so meaningful to you.
Have you got /tried the eyelets Agi? I hope they do the job for you. :)

Oh, I forgot to say.... I got the eylets, and they are too small. not big enough for the small ring in the folder to go through them. :(

I found a place in city where they do it for you, not cheap, but acceptable, but then they only had the aluminium versions - and I want brass. So will go back later to see if they have it, or, have found out about another place but still have to go and check what they have. It's next to my dance lesson place, the problem is, I have been skipping dance lessons for a while because I get dizzy...
So it is still not put together, but not hurry. This is a lifetime project, as I have told you... :)

And waiting for my next chart for it. I ordered this, it should be arriving any day now (as if I didn't have other things to spend my money on  )

And looking for a lovely spring-themed poem to go with it.

If the eyelets are too small for a binder, perhaps you could "bind" yor project by threading ribbon through them to hold the book together? It could work as a very pretty way of keeping it all together and it would be easy to add more pages as you'd just have to untie the bow.

P.S. I love the design you've chosen for your spring poem - so pretty!

Not a bad idea, Kell, but I have already bougth a binder which has a "window" for a stitching,too... I really want to use it now. So I will rather go and find bigger ringlets...

I have started yet another poem by Mihály Csokonai Vitéz.

You can read the whole here: http://www.babelmatrix.org/index.php?pa ... an_lang=en" target="_blank" target="_blank

The first half of the poem is remembering all the happy memories - the second half is very sad, about lost hope. Of course, I am only stitching a few lines of the text.
This poem was written at the end of the 18th century, so I tried to create something that resembles the style - a bit fanciful, a bit too colourful, full of decorative motifs for the first half - and something still intricate but more simple for the second.

This is the start:

Just a little progress, not much because I was working on my long tailed tit as well.
