This is a lovely project, and I'm sure it will make an outstanding display once you've finished, so, keep on stitching!

Bought the frame for it but when I got home I found out I got the wrong size LOL. Oh well, I have a frame for something else now.

Re: Light of the World -FINALLY UPDATED!!!!

Post by talenaya »

I know it's been a very long time since I've done anything on this one. I lost my wind when I learned I was doing wrong (first time on evenweave). I picked it back up in March and have started to enjoy the fabric even with the few frogs I've had since I'm not use to skipping a hole even when the stitches are next to each other pattern. Easier way of saying it: I'm use to only four holes.

I first pic is from March and the second from what I did last week before the fateful peanut reaction.

I'm leaving the griding on it until I'm done even though I gridded wrong in the first place. :D

Thank you. Yes, it's my first evenweave but I really do like the fabric but aida is still better for when I'm not paying complete attention to the stitching.

Looking great and I agree about the issues with using evenweave! I prefer it to aida but I do need to pay slightly more attention to make sure I'm using the right holes!!
