Hi all! Just joined the forum and thought I wouldn't hesitate in saying hello to everyone.

I'm Rachel and been stitching for about 14 years. I'm 31, married, no kids and at university studying for a literature degree.


I just finished my 2nd year at uni, and after not stitching for ages thought i would spend my summer working on a HAED. I love a challenge and decided to choose a very large and detailed design, I adore the art so thought-why not!


I'm starting Impetuous Arrival by Drazenka Kimpel, its a huge 480x625 stitches I think, and I cant wait to start it, my fabric is on order and i'm very excited! probably take me about 4 yrs to complete but who cares lol


Anyway, enough of my rambling :) cant wait to get to know everyone and start chatting to you all!

Ooooh you have picked a lovely design to stitch! I can't wait to see your first progress pics! :dance:

I think we have a WIP picture addiction on this site - especially when it comes to HAEDs :roll:
