Page 4 is complete! The long weekend helped me move along quickly with this section. All that stands between me and my first HAED finish is one half page and one quarter page. I am soooo excited! Once she is done she will be made into a pillow for the guest bedroom.
The way the background blends is simply amazing. It really looks as though the fabric is glowing!

She's looking beautiful The effect to make her wings glow/sparkle is really well done. And quite unusual for a HAED to be made into a pillow, should be interesting

My first ever HAED finish. The detail on her is amazing. Before working on the BAP HAED projects that I have, I decided to complete the quick stitch to see how the charts stitch up. I am forever sold. The colors and the blending are amazing.
She was stitched on 28 ct. evenweave from Dovestitch on Ebay. It is hand-dyed a rose color. I will post a photo when I get her sewn into a pillow. She will rest on the bed in the guest bedroom.
I stitched her to the pattern, although I did substitue DMC sparklies for B5200. I like the little bit of bling it gave. Mainly this was for accents in her wings and the white part of her dress.
