Three Bird Watchers **COMPLETED**

Post by nicgoss »

Yep I've decided to start YET another xs!!!

This isn't usually one that I would pick but thought it would be lovely to do a smaller project, one that I can see an end too! :D

I'm completing this for my boyfriends mum for Christmas. She absolutely adores cats, so think she would appreciate this! (Lets hope eh?)

Started sorting the colours last night, so should have a picture soon.

Here is the finished design..............

Reminds me of my two licking their chops and nittering in anticipation of chicken dinner... But it's a lovely project. :D

And Yoshi actually caught and ate a bird last week. Sadly, it was a Mistle Thrush - at least, so far as I could tell from the mangled remains... :rain:

Sorry I haven't given an update yet! We have decided to give this XS to my other half's mum for her birthday and not Christmas which was about a month ago!!!!    So I'm desperately trying to get a move on with it so she doesn't have to wait too much longer!!!

Anyway here is my first update...

I think i'm about half way, but its difficult to tell! Do you find the faster you're trying to stitch, the slower it seems to come along!?

You are going really well this Nic. I agree with you, the faster you try to get something finished the slower/harder it is.

I did this some years ago but left out the boards at the side. It is still rolled up and waiting to be framed.
