DMC impressions aida washing instructions?

Post by Kute Kitty »

I've just started a small project on DMC impressions aida which I had in my stash and of course in my lack of wisdom I threw away the packaging when I got it because it's so much easier to just store a piece of fabric than a bulky box. I therefore don't know whether I can wash the project when I'm done! I normally wash cross stitch in the washing machine on the most delicate cycle my machine has at 30 degrees. Does anyone know if that will be OK? I don't want to end up washing away the butterflies!

Thanks everyone for your help!

Hi, don'[t know if this helpos, but with bright and dark mix projects, I always wash my work with stergene liquid and very cool hand wash. Hope that helps :)

Thank you :) I did manage to find a pack of impressions aida in a store which indicated machine washing up to about 60 degrees I think would be OK but I'm going to be a little cautious and stick to hand-washing for this I think!
