Ooh, Angel - you've made a great start! And where did Chris get the scented threads at that price??? I'd love to grab a bunch at that kind of bargain!

The stitching is coming together quickly! :applesauce: That'll be fun to use the scented floss. Chris sounds like a keeper!

My local hobby craft had a sale on when we went. Only on the scented threads though, which I thought was brilliant. I'm in the area again on Wednesday and can probably pick some up if anyone wants enabling. I can't promise which ones they'll have or if they'll still be on sale...but I'll look.

Sadly for Avon...I had to frog him. No problem with the chart (which is fantastic) but a lot of the shades had a tinge of green to them. At first I thought it would remedy itself, but the more I looked at it the more green it started to look. Go figure. So I frogged it ALL and went back to the shade list and...played. I began work again but on the hair instead. I'll post a progress pic later.

That's so annoying when the colors just don't look right. I'm sure you'll get it all looking good though. Looking forward to your updates on it!

I know. Chris thought I was going to cry while I was frogging it. But best I frogged now than be forever thinking it's too green :P

Yeah... I don't think green would do Paul Darrow justice ;)

Avon was anything but "green" :-) so definitely worth playing around with the colours! Pity about having to frog though :-(

They're really cool. They smell fantastic! Strong enough that you can smell them without stuffing them in your face.

hehe you know what? I am so going to have to watch Blakes 7 while stitching now. I think he had one green outfit...but this one should definately be black and white. He's a very black sort of character.
