Aly, yes, I think the shading in the pattern made it really look three dimensional.

Finally I have got some money, so now I will have my first ever professional framing done. Can you, please, help me chose a colour? How would you frame it?

I think I would go for a dark brown frame, and a mount to match the fabric with a dark bevelled edge

You can up load your picture here and try different effects
