I used to cross stitch as a young girl, but gave up the hobby for years as it was "uncool" when I was in school. Now that I'm older (but somehow still in school), I've picked it up again as a great way to unwind after a busy day/week doing schoolwork.
I'm currently working on Twilight Angel (a Gold Collection Petite from Dimensions) and Butterfly Forest (also from Dimension's Gold Collection). I've also recently purchased a few HAEDs and am eagerly waiting to start one. (Though I find them a wee bit intimidating.)
Hi there..welcome...I actually just completed the Twilight Angel...It was definitely an interesting project with all the beads and sequins..would love to see it when you're finished
Your projects sound wonderful and a lot of work. I have a lot of Dimensions kits in my stash which I hope to get too soon. Problem is people keeping having important birthdays these last 2 or 3 years. Still its fun to stitch special things for special people.

Not that far then. My best friend lives in St Thomas.
I'm sure you'll like it here. I find it a great place to discuss cross stitch, since none of my friends know much about it. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and encouraging. They also do beautiful projects, so check out the galleries. And the Tips and Tricks section has helped me a lot.
