Burninate! (FINISHED Nov 11)

Post by carolynbb »

I've started my new project!

I play ice hockey and my women's tournament team is The Burninators (from the online comic Home Star Runner, here: http://www.homestarrunner.com/trogdor.html" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank ). Our logo is Trogdor the Burninator, holding a hockey stick.

Anyway, I'm out on injured reserve right now since I ruptured a disc last summer, so my new project is to do a cross stitch of our team logo.

Here's what it'll look like:

Here's what I've done so far today:

And for fun, here's a photo of me playing for the Burninators at the 2009 Las Vegas Women's Hockey Classic, where we won 1st place in our division! My hair's a bit longer now.

Lovely project, I am sure it will be a great success among the team members. But beware - everyone will ask for one at the end!
I like that photo, too :)

One week's worth of progress:

You can't really tell but I'm doing the white text with a strand of Krenik, too, so it's a little shimmery. :)
