Some of you may remember me trying to find a quick but nice wedding stitch for my SIL who is getting married in October. Well, I finally found Wedding Spots that is put out by The Trilogy. I'm using 28 ct tan evenweave. This is my first time using hand dyed threads (Gentle Arts and Weeks Dye Works). I guess I should have know, but this has turned into a very quick stitch! I started working on the border Sunday before we left to make our rounds for Father's Day. I worked on it yesterday and today, and figured I better put a picture up before I finish it. I've had more time today since we didn't go to my grandmother's due to all of the flooded roads around us. We didn't think the van would be able to get through. So, here's where I am with it so far. It'll be interesting to see how much more I get done tonight since I still have another 3-4 hours of stitching ahead.

I'd never heard of the Trilogy, what nice charts they do! Thanks for giving me yet another designer for my wish list . Great start too, and glad you like the hand-dyeds!
Sorry, no pic right now, but I'm hoping to finish this up tonight. I was planning on finishing it over the weekend, but between working soccer registrations, going to see Toy Story 3, air conditioning going on Sunday so spending the day at the children's museum, and everything else that happened, I haven't touched it in a few days.

I did end up finishing this last night. I switched out the elongated heart charm that the pattern calls for. I used a love one instead. The pattern also called for white french knots to go around the top of the wedding cake topper. I tried using some clear rainbow beads that I had, but I'm not sure if they work. I was trying not to put even more white on the pattern. What do all of you think? Now I just need to start looking for a frame and figure out what kind of mat since it has the charm and beads. My other concern is the color used for the glasses and a few other things. By the pattern, it was supposed to be a little more gray, but the overdyed thread has a greenish tint to it. I guess it's okay.
