Oh wow! That is looking so good! I adore the colours.
I'm curious (this is probably a silly question
) but, when you do a picture in parts like this from pages, do you still start in the middleof each page and work out, like they tell you to do when you do a kit?

Oh well it is really coming together in no time you will have it finished and on the wall. Great to be finishing just as the flowers are coming out. Will you put some potpourrie right under it so you get the fresh smells as well.
Good idea eh!!!!
Oh and threadbear there are no silly questions. Some people I have found like to start there patterns from the top left corner and work down from there. Some going line by line and some going colors it is just one more difference we can appreciate. I can't talk for CF as I am not sure how she does it. My personal preferance is to work from the middle out, UNLESS it is a page like the one I am currently doing and I need the words to be in a very specific place.

If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror

k what i did was find the middle of the design..which happened to be on page one...
the middle of the design plus a few rows to the right..
and the middle plus a few rows down..completed page one.
then i just picked it up on page 2..bottom left..
and page three bottom right..
so i did start in the middle but had to stitch a few extra rows to complete each page.
hope i explained that right..lol

Yup, both you and Rose then, still tend to find the middle and work out when possible.
I was curious how people manage when the designs are spread over pages, but those answers both help.
Thanks!

Gosh, I admire your patience -- I think I'd probably stitch it on beige aida and be done with itcoffee_freak wrote:ok so i'm done page 4..except for the beige background...[/img]

It's a beautiful design, though, lovely fresh colours. Reminds me of a field bouquet (can you say that in English? you know, flowers like poppies and cornflowers) I started to stitch years ago on rather a high count -- perhaps i should dig it up (if it still exists) and finally finish it...
