I have a Santa head I haven't quite finished and started some small flat ornaments to hand out at work if I get enough done.Someday I am going to manage to have a working computer, camera , and stitcheries all in the same place. I've recruited my daughter (a scrapbooker) to help me find good mounting stuff for my flat ornaments. So, far I haven't found the item that I have in my head.

Just finished a biscornu for my Christmas tree, the design is from Cross Stitch collection, designed by Jo at Polstitches I think.
Stitched it on the 16 count gold flecked Aida I'm using for the wedding sampler, went really well with the green and red, only problem was the satin hearts, not really a stitch for Aida is it :) but they turned out ok.

I'm pretty much finished with this stocking for my mom. I just need to stitch the french knots and sew the backing on :)

Mauveme, I have had a look at my stash of Christmas designs and sadly I don't have the one that Rose has done.

Hope you can find it.

I've stitched Christmas ornaments onto either plastic canvas or aida. Then I glue them to foam sheets, and attach a ribbon. Check my gallery (pages 4 & 5) and see if this might be the kind of mounting you're looking for.
