Ice tea stain

Post by Ingahaim »

Image

I had a little accident a while ago with my Summer Fairy. I spilled some ice tea on it, but didn't knew about this forum yet so I didn't knew what to do. So I threw the work in the my stitching cabinet. The stain is aproximately 4 months old, recently I started stitching on it again, thinking I was able to stitch over it, but now it seems that I stitch right next to it.

You can see the stain on the left, under de green ribbons.

Is there a way to remove it? The fabric is handdyed by Polstitches, and they don't guarantee that the color is fixed.

I don't know how to remove it from a hand dyed fabric, but until I read the instruction on where it is I wasn't aware there was a stain.

Its frustrating for you, as you know its there, but it almost looks a part of the fabric.

Sorry I can't help more

PS Its really gorgeous design and beautifully stitched too.
