I've just finished the second of two small projects I wanted to get done before I started on my bookmark, so I will be kitting up for this tonight and starting it tomorrow

As much as I'd love to see pictures of all the finished bookmarks now, I'm going to vote for keeping them secret - as starchild said, it is a bit of a Christmas morning feeling, I find it more exciting this way!

So I guess, secret wins! I think on the next bookmark exchange (sometime next year), we will make it one where we post pictures as we finish. Plus we will know who we are sending to before hand so that we can stitch on initials. Btw, am I allowed to host twice in a row, or do I have to wait a while before I can host again?

Secret for me, too... and I also think it's no problem hosting more than one.

I have started mine last night But have to tell you, I didn't follow the rules very well, I didn't design it first, rather "designing" on the go But I like it that way.

Got busy with my needle yesterday.
Completely fell out with my needle when it broke the thread for the third time (I don't recommend the "easy thread" needles at all).
I now have a new needle to get busy with.

Just received my copy of this book and all I can say is wow! Some gorgeous designs in here... but most importantly new ideas on how I can design and finish a bookmark. Which means I won't be using the designs from this book for this exchange, but will be using the techniques to inspire me to create something special
