This is my current WIP. It's for my nephews Birthday/Christmas present. Unfortunatly my 6 week old baby is seriously holding me up on this project....lol.
My backstitch seems a little rocky on this bit so far, it seems as though the thread is really thick....not sure if this is because it's 18 ct aida and I prefer 14 ct ???

I loved stitching this one for my eldest son, i'd stitch one character and couldn't wait to start on the next one. Have you noticed that on the picture Jess has one eye shut but on the pattern both eyes are open.

This is a great pattern! I'm sure it will be fine when all the backstitch is done

That looks really nice. I also prefer 14ct but 18ct does have it's uses.

How cute! I love Toy Story!
Interesting that you back stitch as you go along. I always wait and do it last after all the cross stitches.

I always do the backstitching as I go along too unless it's a really small design.
Lovely stitching on toy story. Buzz Lightyear is coming to life.

I think your backstitch looks fine.
What are these babies, kids and children I keep reading about? They sure sound like a lot of effort and problems. (TIC)

I would rather die than have all that backstitch to do at the end, I can't stand backstitch!
Yes, Charlie aged 22 months and Lily aged 6 weeks seem to not want me to stitch this peice, it's taken ages just to get this far! Just got a bit of Buzz's leg to do then I'll start on Zurg!
Till then got a massive pile of ironing!!!

This is going to look fantastic when it is finished. I shall have to keep my son from seeing this else he will want it. We went to see the 3rd film the other week and he has been talking about Toy Story non-stop.
